Dear Niece and Nephews

Dear Niece and Nephews,

This one is for you.

You are such a blessing. A blessing to your parents, one they feel with their whole heart. A sacred special top of the line blessing to your siblings. You will be friends, teammates, cheerleaders, and guideposts for each other for your whole life long. No one will know you as long as they do and as well as they do. To your grandparents, you are a reminder of the innocence of life, the greatness that life has to offer. It is with your very birth that they are reminded that the force of good in this world is still very strong and that you are amongst its next leaders. They can see that light in you from their first look into your face.

You will have cousins that widen the safeness of the world you live in, that reflect the same guidance and love that your parents and grandparents have shown you and are there to sprinkle a little extra fun into everyday life. And last but not least, Aunts and Uncles... we appreciate you more than you'll ever know. We too, have little ones, little gifts that have entered our lives on their own special days. Following text messages, posting on FB, drinking coffee in the wee hours of the morning from 600 miles away (or more!), awaiting your miraculous entry into the world is a terrific event in our lives. We know first hand that your birth sends a shockwave of positive energy into this world. Because we know your parents. They are amazing, they are a  team, they are ready to keep you facing the light and to be there with you to enjoy this amazing journey of life. We know your siblings and your cousins and the light they're already providing on your path.

When the path seems less paved down the road, or your not sure you can see the light at the end of a tunnel, if you need more advice or another ear to decide which route to take or just to talk about the route at all, you give us a call, or better yet, stop by. We want to hear what you have to say, we want the best for you, we have loved you from the beginning and will never stop...even if we don't see you everyday, that bond never fades.

Here's to you, my sweet niece and nephews, you bring great light to my life. I will always be here for you and will pray for you and love you everyday. You are special, you are filled with light, and you have all you need in your heart to get you along this journey of life. We are right there with you.
